COPE GALWAY IS CURRENTLY SEEKING APPLICANTS FOR
PART TIME PROJECT WORKER ? OSTERLEY LODGE
COPE Galway Osterley Lodge is provided to meet the needs of single
homeless women in Galway. A staff team carry out the day-to-day
running of the service; as a member of this staff team, the post
holder will ensure provision of a high standard of accommodation and
services for its clients. Management of the service is in accordance
with policy guidelines and procedures, the National Quality
Standard?s Framework and COPE Galway?s strategic direction.
A detailed job description and person specification outlines the full
criteria required for the position but includes the following:
* A good standard of education in the social care field ? degree in
Social Care / equivalent
* A minimum of 3 years? experience working in the area of
homelessness preferably in a residential setting with women
* Experience of working with marginalised groups
* Knowledge of homeless issues both locally and at national level
* An ability to act on one?s own initiative and make decisions,
taking into account views and opinions of colleagues, clients and
other service providers
HOURS OF WORK: **Apply on the website** hours per week over a 5 week
rotating roster
